Choose Your Camera

Not all smartphones are indeed made equally, and they vary in their camera specifications. Usually, iPhones are considered better in the field, but some android phones are the best choice. At least they will not be knowingly obsoleted by its manufacturer in the next six months.

Though, a lot of choices out there, you should consider a phone in this regard from one of the following.

Watch your backgrounds

Your image should ideally have a plain white background. It will allow your product to take the spotlight and prevent any distracting element fully.

Showing your product in their environment means contextual imagery can also be set. For kitchen products, you should shoot in the kitchen. For apparel, you can use a model. Some shoots can also be set up outdoor as required for camping etc.

Get your lighting right.

Natural lighting is always free and more helpful as compared to artificial lighting. For indoor photography, set up a white background studio, preferably with a window to either the left or right. Don’t forget to arrange a white reflector on the opposite side. This is because the product must receive light evenly, and no shadow should be there.

Shoot multiple angles and details

Customers always want to know more and more about the product before making any purchase. It is obvious, as they are going to pay you for the product. So, make sure to have multiple shots without compromising their quality. Carefully shoot with all possible angles. Also, zoom in on details when necessary. Highlight the buttons, zippers, controls, straps, and others.
